ONCARE, founded in Munich in 2015, is developing the cross-indication myoncare-platform as a web-based and mobile software solution (MDR, class IIa) to manage the journey of patients across all care sectors and for all health care providers (HCP). myoncare is to be used as Software as a Service (SaaS) to improve clinical processes in the areas of medical education, therapy and aftercare. ONCARE delivers holistic solutions for service providers (hospitals, outpatient centers and practices), patients as well as pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.
Role within SmILE
Oncare leads Work Package 3: "Data Management and Interfaces." The team provides a GDPR-compliant, MDR- and IIA-certified platform featuring frontends and role-based user interfaces to manage the patient journey and support simulations by healthcare providers. The platform is designed to scale, accommodating a wide variety of interfaces and sensor data.
Oncare also contributes to data integration from various partners into a unified platform aimed at optimizing patient care. This includes the integration of PROMs and the enhancement of communication between healthcare professionals and patients—across institutional boundaries and between inpatient and outpatient care—ensuring broad international scalability.
